TOPPING THE BARREL
Cutting the Croze
We take the utmost care from shaping the barrel to cutting the croze.
Gainesville Cooperage uses a finger joint locking system, rather than a butt joint, for the heading of the barrels. This provides a tighter seal to prevent leaking of the barrels’ valuable contents.
